The Florida Turnpike was closed on Monday following a traffic accident and massive fuel spill. A fuel truck traveling southbound on the turnpike rolled over several times after one of its tires blew near mile-marker 72. The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Florida Highway Patrol estimates between 800-1000 gallons of diesel fuel spilled. Authorities expect the closure to continue into Tuesday.
