A Canadian Pacific freight train derailed in Pewaukee, WI over the weekend. Eight boxcars and one tanker car flipped off the tracks and landed in a nearby pond. Broadcastify, a radio channel that streams emergency response scanner communication worldwide, released the following statement. “In contact with the conductor, he said they hit a hot box further west, the emergency brakes locked up and that’s what caused this. They’re advising that everyone on board was okay,”
The official cause of the derailment is under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
