December 12, 2022: Chemical Spill Causes Evacuation in Tulsa

Hazmat crews responded to a chemical spill at the BS&D Safety Systems facility in Tulsa, OK on Friday morning. Two people suffering from respiratory issues were transported to a local hospital. Authorities said the spill was caused by cleaning chemicals being placed into barrels that were incompatible with the chemicals. Officials evacuated the building while the phosphoric and sulfuric acid was cleaned up. There is no danger to surrounding businesses.
