A freight train derailed in a railyard near Spring Street in Klamath Falls, OR on Wednesday. The derailment ignited two fires that were quickly extinguished by the Klamath County Fire Department.
Officials said none of the cars involved were hauling hazardous materials. Several railcars derailed, with one landing on its side. The cause of the derailment is currently under investigation. No injuries were reported.
