September 2, 2022: Louisiana Refinery Temporarily Closing in January

In January, ExxonMobil is planning to temporarily shut down its Baton Rouge refinery for maintenance. The Baton Rouge refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in the United States. It is responsible for producing around 520,000 barrels of crude per day. ExxonMobil will be replacing all of the drums used for distillation. The process is expected to take 68 days.
