May 14, 2022: Fuel Spill and Fire Shut Down I-20 in Mississippi

An unknown amount of diesel fuel was spilled when a tractor trailer driver lost control and wrecked on I-20. The truck caught fire but the driver was able to escape unharmed. However, the driver of another vehicle involved in the accident was transported the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. The westbound lanes in I-20 in Scott County, MS were shut down for several hours on Thursday.
