March 8, 2021: Train Carrying Molten Sulfur and Asphalt Derailed in Plymouth, MN

A Canadian Pacific freight train carrying molten sulfur, asphalt, and lumber derailed in Plymouth, Minnesota on Sunday. Approximately 22 cars derailed. Some of the cars did roll over. There were no injuries and no leaks reported from any of the cars.
Hazmat crews will remain at the derailment site until the cleanup efforts have been completed. Canadian Pacific has been monitoring the air quality around the derailment site but have not reported any unusual readings.
