December 21, 2020: (NPRM) Fatigue Risk Management Programs for Certain Freight and Passenger Railroads

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is proposing regulations that would require certain railroads to develop and implement a Fatigue Risk Management Program.
A Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP) is a comprehensive, system-oriented approach to safety in which a
railroad determines its fatigue risk by identifying and analyzing applicable hazards and takes action to mitigate, if not eliminate, that fatigue risk.
Interested parties may submit comments on the proposed rule until February 22, 2021. All comments must include the docket number and agency name.

Docket No. FRA–2015–0122, Notice No. 1
