October 2, 2019: (NPRM) Incorporation by Reference; North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria; Hazardous Materials Safety Permits

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is proposing an amendment to the Hazardous Materials Safety Permits regulations that would incorporate the updated Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance handbook. The current reference to CVSA is based on the April 1, 2018 edition. The amendment would update it to reflect the April 1, 2019 edition.
Interested parties may submit comments on the proposed amendment until November 1, 2019.
