A freight train derailed in Pearl River County Mississippi as a direct result of the heavy rains that the area has seen. The flash flooding washed out the railroad tracks and caused over 20 rail cars to derail.
Authorities did confirm that chemicals are leaking into the water but they do not believe they are hazardous materials. No injuries were reported.
