The Federal Railroad Administration is proposing an amendment to the accident/incident reporting regulations that require any accident or incident that has damages exceeding specified monetary threshold amount to be reported to FRA. This amendment would modify the way the periodic adjustments to the reporting threshold is calculated. Interested parties may submit comments on the proposal until July 16, 2019.
