A multi-vehicle accident in Bluffdale, Utah on Thursday forced authorities to close I-15 northbound for several hours. Authorities said an Amazon truck jackknifed on the highway and two passenger vehicles slammed into the truck. Another truck hauling two tankers full of crude oil was traveling too fast for the conditions, lost control, and slammed into the Amazon truck. The accident caused 1,500 gallons of crude oil to spill onto the highway. None of the persons involved in the accident were seriously injured. Authorities were able to reopen the highway the following afternoon.
