A tractor trailer was struck by a coal train on Saturday evening after the truck was stuck on the railroad tracks. The incident occurred at the intersection of Miller Store Rd. and County Rd. 1450 N in Hamilton County, Illinois. The truck driver was able to escape the cab before the train struck the vehicle. Several of the railcars derailed but no injuries were reported. The truck was engulfed in flames when first responders arrived on the scene.
