A tanker truck overturned on Highway 76 near Spy Rock Road in Oconee County, SC on Sunday evening. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The overturned tanker truck leaked an unknown amount of fuel onto the highway. Hazmat crews responded to the scene and the highway remained closed for several hours. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
