Drivers are asked to avoid the WV Turnpike near Pax. A truck hauling hazardous chemicals lost control of the vehicle and jackknifed across the barrier wall. The accident was blocking both the north and southbound lanes. The chemical being hauled was described as an amines solution. Some of the solution spilled into nearby Paint Creek. The driver of the truck, Dennis Eugene West, was charged with a DUI following the accident.
