Hazmat crews were called to massive structure fire at a chemical packaging plant in Southlake, Texas on Wednesday afternoon. The Southlake Department of Public Safety said two local schools were placed in lockdown as a precaution, several streets in the area were evacuated, and locals are urged to avoid the area while the nine fire departments responding to the scene are working. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Once the fire was contained, hazmat crews began working to prevent hazardous runoff.
