The Memphis Fire Department responded to a hazardous materials incident at the Blues City Brewery. Firefighters were able to safely evacuate 350 people. Ten people suffering from respiratory distress were transported to local hospitals. One person has been listed in critical condition. A preliminary investigation showed that two disinfectants were mixed together and created a hazardous vapor. MFD was able to contain the material and the brewery returned to normal operations an hour later.
