A BNSF freight train carrying 98 cars of denatured alcohol derailed and caught fire in Oklaunion, TX. A total of twenty-nine cars were on fire following the derailment. After careful assessment, officials opted to let the cars burn themselves out. An abandoned house located near the derailment became engulfed in flames. No other properties were damaged and no injuries were reported.
