Two employees working at a North Carolina Valley Proteins plant have died in what authorities are calling a hazmat incident. A hazmat team responded to the plant. The names of the deceased are not being provided until families have been notified. The cause of the hazmat incident and resulting deaths are currently under investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
