The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration is seeking public comments on proposed amendments to the Federal Pipeline Safety Regulations for the safety of hazardous liquid pipelines. The amendments will include revisions to the requirements for facility response plans and the definition for accidents.
PHMSA is hoping to reduce the regulatory burdens and improve regulatory clarity. Interested parties may submit comments until June 15, 2020.
