August 3, 2019: CP Train Derails in Alberta Canada

Residents in Cypress County Alberta Canada were temporarily evacuated on Friday afternoon following a Canadian Pacific train derailment. Two of the cars involved in the incident were found to be leaking styrene at a minimal rate from the top valves but both have since been contained.
Investigators do not know the cause of the derailment at this time. No injuries were reported and residents were permitted to return home late Friday evening.
