The 60th edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations will incorporate several significant changes including changing of the word “risk” to the word “hazard” throughout the texts, changes to the provisions for classification of corrosives, and a dozen new UN numbers.
While the changes won’t be mandatory until January 1, 2019 IATA has released a list of the amendments that will be included in the new publication.
