The National Tank Truck Carriers, Inc. has submitted an application requesting an administrative decision to determine is federal hazardous material transportation law preempts the State of California’s regulations that prohibit employees being forced to work during their mandatory meal or rest period.
Interested parties may submit comments until October 17, 2016. Rebuttal comments must be submitted by December 1, 2016.
