PHMSA has issued a notice of actions on special permit applications. A list of the applications has been published in the Federal Register. Application numbers beginning with “EE” are the Emergency Special Permits. Under the “Nature of Application” section the mode of transportation can be identified using the following numbers:
1 – Motor Vehicles
2 – Rail Freight
3 – Cargo – Vessel
4 – Cargo – Aircraft Only
5. Passenger – Carrying Aircraft
