Earlier this year the FRA posted a notice of proposed rule making regarding the proposed rule that would mandate Risk Reduction Programs (RRPs) for certain railroads. A public hearing was held to give interested parties a platform to provide comments regarding the proposed rule in August 2015. FRA is now providing an opportunity for interested parties to submit written comments regarding the proposed rule or on any of the information that was provided in the public hearing. Written comments will be accepted until September 18, 2015.
