On May 3, 2021 DOT published the 2021 inflation amount to the civil penalty amounts that may be imposed for violations of the regulations. This publication corrects a technical error in that final rule that resulted in inaccurate amendatory instruction. This correction does not affect the actual civil penalty amounts published on May 3, 2021.
