In accordance with the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation
Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015, the Department of Transportation has issued a final rule regarding the 2020 inflation adjustment to the civil penalty amounts that may be imposed for violating certain regulations. The final rule will be effective as of January 11, 2021.
