Huron Eastern Railroad Company had a minor derailment around 2:30 am near Akron, OH on Tuesday. According to Akron Fairgrove Police Chief, Matt Simerson, one rail car hooked a standalone rail car that was on a side rail. They were then dragged approximately 150 yards before both cars tipped over.
There were no injuries reported and the clean-up efforts were expected to be completed within 24 hours.
