- Loading Balancing, Blocking & Bracing, Segregation and Separation for containers or semi-trailers.
COMPLIANCE DUTIES:
- Hazardous Waste Management.
- Record keeping & record management for required documents – e.g., shipping papers, registration, training records, safety data sheets, manifests, etc.
- Development/maintenance of inspection book for DOT inspectors.
- HazMat registration for all legal entities that require it, initial and renewal.
- DOT (FRA, FMCSA, PHMSA, FAA) Inspection findings and violations investigations, penalty mitigation, written responses, communication with inspectors, and support.
RAIL:
- Railcar Management – e.g., problem car resolution and remediation, coordination of MRU, shopping, and emergency service contracts as needed, bad order support.
- Customer rail car support for problem cars or bad orders at their site.
- One Time Movement Approval (OTMA) preparation and submission.
- Railcar inspection for cars in storage to ensure they are ready for service.
- Railcar leasing/build support, inspection, acceptance
- Daily support of business units as needed.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) review/revision.
- Accident/Incident investigation & root cause analysis.
