December 30, 2019: Proposed Agency Information Collection Activities; Comment Request

The Federal Railroad Administration is proposing some minor revisions to the Quarterly Positive Train Control (PTC) Progress Report Form (Form FRA F 6180.165) and Annual PTC Progress Report Form (Form FRA F 6180.166).
FRA proposed host railroads that are operating FRA-Certified PTC systems should be required to submit Statutory Notification of PTC System Failures. Additionally, FRA recommended using an alternative reporting frequency and location, as the statutory mandate authorizes FRA to establish.
Interested parties may submit comments on the proposed revisions until February 28, 2020. All comments must include the docket number.
