July 18, 2019: Delta Woman Faces Multiple Charges in Derailment

Ms. Logan Guess, 25, from Delta Ohio has been indicted on several charges relating to a train derailment that was caused when she left her vehicle on the railroad tracks in Swanton last month. Ms. Guess was charged with interfering with the operation of a train, a fourth-degree felony, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a first-degree misdemeanor.
During the derailment the railcars came dangerously close to striking several buildings but thankfully no injuries were reported.
