A CSX employee was struck and killed by a train in the Wauhatchie, Tennessee rail yard on Sunday. Allen Lowe had been with CSX for 24 years at the time of the accident and leaves behind two children. The incident is currently under investigation but CSX did release the following statement: “Safety is CSX’s highest priority and our goal is for every employee to return home safely. Losing a fellow railroader is difficult for everyone at CSX, and we will conduct a thorough investigation to understand the cause of this incident.”
