September 17, 2018: Correcting Amendment Issued on Hours of Service Recordkeeping Final Rule

The Federal Railroad Administration published a final rule on August 29, 2018, to reduce the paperwork burden resulting from compliance with the hours of service laws and regulations. A minor technical error was made during publication causing FRA to publish a correction in an effort to ensure the rule conforms with the agency’s intent. The correction will be effective September 17, 2018.
