On December 28, 2015 FRA submitted an Information Collection Request for a new form, Positive Train Control Implementation Plan (PTCIP)
Template, under Emergency Processing Approval. The request was granted by OMB on January 6, 2016 for a period of 180 days. FRA is now requesting the extension be given for a period of 3 years in order to assist railroads with revised PTCIPs. Interested parties may submit comments until March 28, 2016.
