The Federal Aviation Administration issued a Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) that will provide regulatory relief to the people that have been unable to comply with training, recent experience, testing, and checking requirements due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Additionally, this will allow operators to continue to use pilots and crew members in support of essential operations. It will also allow air carriers and operators to fly overflow aircraft. The SFAR will be effective from April 30, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
