October 10, 2016: Agency Request for Emergency Processing of Collection of Information
The Federal Railroad Administration is seeking emergency processing of the information collected on the Railworthiness Directive regarding DOT 111 tank cars that was issued on September 30, 2016. FRA believes that because safety is an overriding issue it can’t wait the standard 90 days for public comments. Instead, FRA is requesting approval of the collection of information 7 days following the Federal Register notice.
