May 13, 2021: Hummer Bursts into Flames in Florida with Four Containers of Gasoline On Board

Citrus County Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a vehicle fire in Homosassa, Florida yesterday morning. Authorities said the driver of the 2004 Hummer H2 loaded 4 five-gallon containers filled with gasoline into the back of the vehicle at a local Texaco Food Mart.
One person did sustain injuries but declined transportation to the hospital. Authorities remind Florida residents that there is no need to be concerned about the current issue with the Colonial Pipeline. 90% of Florida’s gas supply comes from cargo ships.

STARS wants to remind its readers that gasoline is a flammable liquid and a hazardous material. Carrying more than necessary in your vehicle or storing in your home is dangerous and could lead to fires, serious damage, or severe injuries.
