A CSX train derailed in Terre Haute, IN., in Duane Yard, with 4 of the cars tipping completely on their sides spilling out thousands of pounds of grain.
The wheels of the cars and the track were crumbled and mangled. The intersection was reopened after
engineers removed the body of the train from the last six cars.
Chris West, a resident of the area said “I’ve never seen anything like this.”
There were no injuries and no hazardous materials were involved.
