June 18, 2018: CSX Train Derails in Indiana Causing Explosion

A CSX freight train derailed in Princeton Indiana on Sunday evening. The derailment, which occurred approximately 2,100 feet from a trailer park, caused an explosion when one of the rail cars released propane.
First responders went door to door evacuating residents within a mile radius of the crash site.
CSX released a statement saying there were no reported injuries and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
