Transport Canada will be launching its Transportation of Dangerous Goods Client Identification Database (TDG CID) in 2020-2021. Businesses that import, offer for transport, handle or transport dangerous goods in Canada will be required to register with Transport Canada and provide them with company information and dangerous good activities including the types of dangerous goods they are transporting, the modes of transportation being used, and the volume of dangerous goods in the shipment. Interested parties may submit comments until April 16, 2018.
