New York Susquehanna and Western Railroad has petitioned FRA for a waiver of compliance regarding the Confidential and Close Call Reporting System. The waiver would shield reporting employees and railroads from disciplinary action that can arise when an employee reports a close call.
At this time FRA does not plan to hold a public hearing but interested parties may submit comments until May 5, 2016.
