PHMSA has proposed to terminate approximately 443 Explosive Approvals following a failed attempt to reach the approval holders in October 2014. PHMSA sent certified letters to the approval holders using the address that was on file but the letters were returned as undeliverable. As a result of the approval holders not providing PHMSA with a valid company name and address the approvals will be terminated 30 days following the notice being published in the Federal Register.
